like what id do is just take the jeans, turn em inside out, and however many inches you want off the sides measure it evenly on both sides, and then sew. like... Pretend that is a picture of jeans turned inside out, then where the darker blue lines are is where you would sew, then you cut off the excess fabric and turn them back rightside out.
one question though. how would i measure how much i want cut off. i was thinking of putting on the jeans and sticking pins where the loos parts were but that doesnt sound too smart hah
like you could stick the pins in while youre wearing it, and then take them off and turn em inside out, and then sort of estimate the amount you want to cut off to the nearest inch depending on where you placed the pins, then just draw a line with chalk where you want to sew.
